The Good Samaritan Fund is used to address members' needs for things such as helping to pay utility bills when service will be terminated, providing medicine that otherwise cannot be afforded, helping with a car repair so a person can keep their job, or helping with insurance when child support is not paid.

The fund can also help with transient persons to meet emergency needs such as gasoline or diapers.

The Good Samaritan Fund is to be used in coordination with other services, especially those we partner with such as People's Resource Center, Hinsdale Community Services or PADS - Public Action to Deliver Shelter.
