Funding Mission Trips
Third Thursdays are a way to raise funds for youth mission trips. On the Third Thursday of each month, you can dine at a chosen restaurant and that restaurant will donate a portion of your dining bill toward youth ministry. Thank you for coming out on Thursday to Uncle Bubs to support youth ministry.

The Goal of Fundraisingspaghetti_fundraiser.jpg
Each mission trip is quite costly.  This is so the youth have supplies to do the work and in order that the most good may be done for those they serve. CLC's goal is that the church will directly fund between 15-20%, youth and their families will fund between 25 and 65% and fundraising will raise between 25 to 65% of the cost of the trip.  We hope this inspires the youth to be fully invested in the trip and to engage the congregation and community to support them in prayer as well as with the means to attend.  In fundraising, youth are given a personal account for some of the funds raised, to encourage those who do the most to be rewarded the most.  Fundraisers also help fund a scholarship fund, as the policy of the church is that no one will not be able participate based solely on their inability to pay.

Purchase Gift Cards to Support Youth Mission Trips
Gift cards are sold for the face value (a $50 card costs $50) and youth earn between 1 & 4 percent based on the type of gift card and its value. Gift cards ordered one week will be available to pick up the following week after worship.  Gift cards can be given as gifts, donated to things like Christmas Ministries or Food Pantries, or can simply be used for your own purchases of groceries, gas or shopping items.
You can order online by clicking the links below, or by calling the office and placing your order with Rachel. Either way, your gift cards will arrive the next week. Giving can't get any easier than that!
