It’s never a dull moment with this group of seniors! Monthly activities include trips to the Morton Arboretum, plays, dinners out, cruising in classic cars, and speakers presenting information on governmental legislation affecting seniors on medical, financial and personal issues.
The most recent event was a presentation by World War II veterans who spoke about the men and women who put their lives on the line to defend our nations's freedom. It was presented by Richard Collier, Art Kirchhoff and Jim Schneider. In the words of Churchill they (the servicemen and women) and we were all a part of that gargantuan struggle for civilization , and the freedom we enjoy today.
A lighthearted event last summer was the Classic Car Event. Check out these photos of the Classic Car Event.
